Celebrate the small things
Today’s Prompt (20): Celebrating the small things is important while living with an invisible illness. Sometimes it’s a clear scan, good night’s sleep or positive drug response. Write about a time you celebrated something small related to your invisible illness. How did you celebrate? What did it feel like in your body to have positive news about your health? How long did it last?
Turn your phone on airplane mode and remove all distractions. Set a timer and write for 25 minutes. I encourage you to write in a notebook instead of on your computer or phone - don’t edit while you’re writing. When the timer goes off, if you have the time, space and interest to continue, go for it.
